As a Canadian now living and working in Scotland, I’ve had experiences and interactions with a wide range of clients that have taught me valuable lessons about how a successful business should be run. And as anyone who’s met me will attest, I have the friendly and personable approach you’d expect!
Like most people, I’ve had quite the journey to discover my passion and calling, one that’s taken me from the coastal beauty of Vancouver Island, to the rolling hills of Wales, and finally my home in the bustling and picturesque Edinburgh. In doing so I’ve learned a lot about myself, and the importance of making sure your job is something that you wake up every day excited to take on.
This is the core of my what drives me as a VA - a passion for what I do, a genuine love of people, and a desire to help people focus on what motivates them. I’ve always been a strong planner, someone who makes sure everyone around me is organised, and someone who knows how to help people. As a VA I bring these skills to my clients, as well as a passion for the digital world and the modern business environment.
Having grown up around my father’s successful website design company, I know what it takes to make a business a success in the digital realm, whether that’s organising email inboxes, scheduling social media, or driving your email marketing forward.
Finally, business is about people, and for me that’s the most important part of being a virtual assistant - getting to meet and help people from all different sorts of businesses, sharing in their passion and drive.
